The LabVIEW Centre of Excellence was established in 2013. Developed by National Instruments, LabVIEW is an integrated system-design platform and development environment for a visual programming language. It is widely used for data acquisition, instrument control, industrial automation, measurement analysis applications and simulation models.

In today’s laboratories, lecture halls and dorm rooms, time is the most critical factor when it comes to understanding and discovery. Researchers use the NI platform to push the boundaries of discovery. They are driven by the challenges humanity faces and the economic and technical trends that are revolutionising wireless communications, transportation and energy.

Engineering educators are preparing students to become the innovators of tomorrow. This requires an engaging, hands-on curriculum that inspires students and puts theory into practice.
