- An ability to knowledge in mathematics, science and engineering to solve civil engineering problems.
- An ability to design and conduct experiments, and analyze & interpret data.
- An ability to design a system, component or process within realistic constraints that meets desired specifications and requirements.
- An ability to identify, formulate and solve civil engineering problems.
- An ability to use modern engineering software tools and equipment to analyze civil engineering problems.
