Overview

Department of Mathematics of this University came into existence since its very inception in 1997. This Department handles wide range of Mathematics courses being offered to Under Graduate and Post Graduate students of this University which carries tremendous amount of academic load. The subjects taught by the department includes – Differential calculus, Integral calculus, Vector calculus, Matrix Algebra, Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations, Complex Analysis, Numerical analysis, Discrete Mathematics, Laplace, Fourier and Z-Transforms, Optimization Methods, Probability Theory etc. Apart from teaching, the faculty members of this department are involved in pursuing research in different subjects of Mathematical Sciences as Graph Theory and Combinatorial, Optimization Techniques, Cosmology, Differential Equations, Mathematics of Computer Virus, Fluid Mechanics, Fractals etc. The department is conducting AICTE and self-Sponsored Staff Development Programmes from time to time on different areas of pure and applied Mathematics.
