M.Tech in Civil Engineering is a postgraduate program that provides advanced knowledge and skills in the field of civil engineering. The program is designed to equip students with the ability to apply scientific and engineering principles to solve complex problems related to construction, design, and management of civil engineering projects.The program covers a range of topics such as advanced structural analysis, earthquake engineering, advanced concrete technology, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, water resources engineering, and environmental engineering. The coursework is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of civil engineering principles and practices. In addition to coursework, the program also emphasizes practical skills development through laboratory work and industry internships. Students have access to state-of-the-art facilities such as well-equipped laboratories, computer facilities, and a well-stocked library.
The Department also provides access to the latest software and equipment used in the civil engineering industry and is proud to be associated as a permanent member in American Concrete Institute (ACI) , an international professional body in the field of concrete technology. The Student Chapter of ACI has been participating in various National and International events of India Chapter of ACI and has also bagged many prizes and scholarships.
