About the University
A 20 years old Autonomous Engineering College established in the state of Odisha in 1997to promote the highest standards of technical education in the state. C. V. Raman Global University is a progressive institution in Orissa, set up to promote the highest standards of technical education in the state. The institution aims at molding a new breed of technocrats with a competitive edge to match both national and international standards. The college aims at educating the students to become not only competent professionals but also excellent human beings who would contribute towards the welfare of the society and help in raising the quality of life of its people
About the Program
C. V. Raman Global University (CGU), Odisha has initiated a program “SAFAL – Skill for All” to provide free education (admission / Lodging & Boarding) in Diploma / Degree engineering/ Hotel Management / Short Term Skill Development courses for orphan and destitute young adolescent girls a stage to seek advanced education and empower them to become decent residents of the country by utilizing the resources of the University campus.
SAFAL program started in 2019 by Shri Sanjib Kumar Rout, Founder President – CGU to work for the all-round upliftment of the orphan and downtrodden young girls of the society.
The theme of this scheme is that “Skill can change life and no child should be deprived of availing skill because of her financial background”.
This scheme is a gateway for young adolescent girl students who completed their 10th / ITI / 12th class and are keen to build a career in Engineering, Management , Hotel Management etc. This program also offers skill development training in different fields to the girls who are above the age of 18 and required qualification is standard VIII pass.
The programs are completely free and provide all facilities including fooding, accommodation and other accessories required for their studies. Students enrolled under skill development programs are given cent percent job guarantee.
