From the futuristic vision of reforming technical education for the better, envisioned by our founder Mr Sanjib Rout; CV Raman Group of Institutions started as a humble regional engineering college (CVRCE) in 1997. This degree level engineering college was one of the many technical institutes established under the banner of CV Raman Group of Institutions.
It was from his vision of imparting state of the art education and technical knowledge to the future generation of students that CVRGI took roots in Odisha. The aim of the institution has always been maintaining consistency in the quality of education given to the students and train them to be experts in their fields of interest. Every student at CV Raman group of Institutions has access to premier education and academic facilities, relevant, skill enhancing training and global exposure that help them realise their full potential as individuals and skilled professionals.
It is from his greater vision that CVRGI today has a solid infrastructure of Centres of Excellence, Startup Incubation centers and Research facilities housed in an eco-friendly sustainable campus. His dream of a premier institute of technical education still stay relevant as CV Raman College of Engineering gears up to reinvent itself as CV Raman Global University in 2020. It is through 23 years of dedication towards a single goal of imparting education and striving towards perfection that CV Raman Global University is all set to make its presence felt in the world education scenario.
