When Google’s CEO, Mr. Sundar Pichai revealed the company’s plans to train two million Android developers in partnership with 30 universities, CGU took the cue and went on a mission to prepare students for the technology challenges of the IT sector. CGU and Google have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to offer courses with a specialization in Android Programming & Digital Marketing. A Centre of Excellence on the campus thus laid the foundation for creating extraordinary talent for tech giants like Google.
The objective of the above training programme is to expose the participants to different aspects of software development, especially in mobile application development, and to improve their knowledge in areas like Android Application Development, Digital Marketing and Web Design & Development. The programme covers both classroom and laboratory components in line with those recommended by Google Inc. The programme will be conducted at C. V. Raman Campus and will offer trainers as well as trainees an opportunity to explore the latest technologies being offered by Google in various domains.
