A few months back, Google’s Indian-origin CEO, Mr Sundar Pichai was in India where he had said, “As per the new plan of Google, we will train two million Android developers in partnership with 30 universities. This will be done over the time period of next three years. For me, getting many developers in the workforce is that it is going to solve many new things.” On these lines, C. V. Raman Global University advanced itself and availed the coveted opportunity to set up a Center of Excellence in the campus to facilitate the students to prepare themselves for the challenges in the Information Technology (IT) industry.
With a view to producing trained personnel for IT industries Tech giant Google and C. V. Raman Global University, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to offer courses with specialization in Android programming & Digital Marketing. This has resulted in establishment of a state of the art training center at CGU campus.
The objective of the above training program is to expose the participants to different aspects of software development especially in mobile application development and to improve their knowledge in Android Application Development, Digital Marketing and Web Design & Development etc. The program covers both classroom and laboratory components in line with those recommended by Google Inc. The program will be conducted at C. V. Raman Campus and will offer the trainers & the trainees an opportunity to explore latest technologies being offered by Google in various domains. The program is sure to be beneficial to B. Tech, M. Tech & MCA students. It will not only improve their market value, but also add to their employment potential.
