Automotive Mechatronics is a technological field that encompasses a multidisciplinary approach involving the integration of automotive mechanical and electronic systems. Mechatronic systems such as braking or steering systems, automatic transmissions, chassis systems, and engine management are characterized by the complex interaction of electronics and the mechanics they involve. You will gain skills across automotive-specific mechanics, electronics, communication, and advanced control strategies.

Our objective has been to make students proficient and skillful in the domain of automotive technology. The automotive field is undergoing a rapid change in recent times involving hybridization, electrification, autonomous navigation, etc to quote a few. Nevertheless, the bedrock for the evolving technologies lies in the evolution of the modern automobile which has been running on the surface of the planet for the past 200 years.

Motor vehicle mechatronics technicians work in the planning, servicing, inspection, diagnosis, repair, equipping, and retrofitting of motor vehicles in the key areas of automobile, commercial vehicle, motorcycle, and vehicle communications technology. The training takes place with vehicle manufacturers and servicing companies.
