About Us

Established in 2012, C. V. Raman TRTC (Tool Room & Training Centre) Bhubaneswar is aimed at promoting technical education through a real manufacturing environment. It has ultramodern, sophisticated Tool Room facilities under one roof. It’s what every tool maker would aspire for. The wide spectrum of hi-tech machines includes the latest and advanced in CNC Milling, CNC Turning and EDM Wire Cut machines which can cater to various requirements of the customers. Modern Tool Room facilities are indispensable for the industrial development of the country. After all, assimilation and utilisation of modern technology help in improving the quality, productivity and availability of goods. Well-trained manpower is therefore key to industrial progress.

The main objectives of TRTC–Bhubaneswar include designing and manufacturing quality press tools, die-casting dies, moulds, jigs, fixtures, gauges and components as per customer requirements conforming to International Standards. TRTC also manufactures the aerospace and automobile components for HAL, ISRO, ADA, LPSC, SLV, Patton international ltd, Rsb Transmission Ltd and TATA Motors using high-end CNC machines and precision inspection facilities like CMM and Profile projectors.

TRTC–Bhubaneswar has also worked on research projects pertaining to the reverse engineering process. It helps students wanting in-depth training in production processes like process planning, CAD, CAM, machining, assembling and inspection. With long and short courses in CAD/CAM/CAE/CNC machining and tool & die technology, the centre is playing its part well in strengthening the technical competency of students and providing trained manpower to our country. It also aims to provide consultancy for Total Tooling Solutions to facilitate product development, productivity enhancement and quality improvement.
