About Us

Advanced Welding CoE was established in the year 2016 to promote technical education through Training & Research programmes to cater to the growing demand for skilled professionalsin theengineering and manufacturing sector of our country. The centre imparts training to undergraduate, postgraduate and vocational school students to bridge the industry-academia gap and enhance the competency levels of students for better employability.

Scope of Research

The centre is fully equipped with basic and advanced welding machines, basic characterizations and non-destructive testing (NDT) facilities. It is monitored and operated by trained and efficient faculty. It is where complex problems are solved through research and critical thinking. It has successfully completed externally funded projects for BRNS and Tata Steel.
