An orientation program was organized in the BOSCH auditorium of C.V. Raman Global University for 140 first-semester BSc. (Hons.) Agriculture students. The event featured presentations by esteemed professors, the Dean of Academics and the Dean of Agriculture and Allied Sciences. Additionally, final-year agriculture students played a crucial role in coordinating the proceedings.
During the orientation, incoming students were introduced to a variety of important topics, including CGU’s achievements, ongoing activities, academic regulations, discipline-specific courses, subjects, dress codes, mentoring programs, the Rural Entrepreneurship Awareness Development Yojana Program, experiential learning opportunities, the examination and evaluation system and potential career pathways.
To further familiarize the new students with the campus, professors, laboratory assistants and final-year students led an informative campus tour.
