Visit to a Local Area- Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves
Description of Event:
Visiting the twin hills of Khandagiri and Udaygiri is both creative and educational for the 1st year B.tech students. It allows them to feel like they are part of something much bigger. They visit rock-cut caves, that were built for Jain monks sometime during the 1st and 2nd centuries BC and are also enlightened to see the lithic records of 13 years of Kalinga king, Kharavela’s reign.
