Chemistry Is A Vast And Highly Demanding Interdisciplinary Subject In Terms Of Research, Job Opportunities, And Applicability In Various Sectors Such As Food Industry, Material Science, Utility Industry, Health Industry And Many More. The Chemistry Department Of C.V. Raman Global University, Is Committed To Deliver Best Knowledge Centric Education To The Students That Involves Class Room Teaching Using Various Advanced Teaching And Learning Methodologies, Practical In Laboratory, Carrying Out Experiential Learning That Enhances Their Analytical Ability, Problem Solving Attitude, Seminar Presentation For Developing Impactful Presentation Style, Conducting Major Research Based Project Work In Theoretical, Fundamental, Applied And Industrial Research. In Addition To These, The Students Also Get Internship Opportunities In Various Industries For Better Job Prospects.

About Department

The department of Chemistry acts as one of the versatile centres in the University. It strengthens the fundamentals of students driving them to apply their knowledge for various practical applications. The department has grown into a knowledge centre of both basic and applied science & technology with qualified and experienced faculty. Currently, the Department is providing post graduate and PhD programs. On research point of view the department is dedicated to advanced research and development programmes in various fields, more specifically Organic and Inorganic Synthesis, Electrometallurgy/electro-synthesis, Biofuels, Battery and energy storage device technology, Nanotechnology, Supramolecular Chemistry, Bioinorganic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Drug Design, Discovery and Delivery etc. With a good laboratory facility, the Department is actively engaged in carrying out PhD programme through various cutting-edge research. Moreover, the Department has significant contributions to the university in terms of funded research projects, publications, patents etc.
