M.Tech Chemical Engineering

The M.tech Chemical Engineering commenced in 2006 with a view to ignite academic interest of the students and to keep them on the cutting edge of recent technology. The Department conducts Industrial visits, Conferences, Expert talks, and advanced training programs on various thrust areas. The department is associated with the Society of Chemical Engineers (SoCHE) including all students of the program as its members.

The society provides the students a platform to interact with their counterparts from other colleges, leading academicians, industrialists, and professional bodies. The department of M.tech in Chemical Engineering also has an IIChE student chapter which organizes seminars inviting experts from industries or reputed institutes across the country and abroad. FESTO Authorized and Certified Training Centre (FACT) has been established with a view to impart international standard training on process automation.

b. GATE qualified candidates need not sit in the entrance examination. They have to submit their documents through the admission portal for direct admission during counseling process.

c. Passed M.Sc. Degree in the relevant discipline with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
