Dean’s Message

As the Dean, I feel privileged to head one of CV Raman Global University’s most promising schools which has made significant contributions for the institute. Our research community, students, faculty, and staff engage in top-tier scientific investigations, from unraveling the secrets of dark matter to comprehending why salamanders sparkle at night. In all branches of basic science, we use a collaborative, hands-on, and multidisciplinary approach to research. We think that solving real-world issues need collaboration, practical learning, and a range of viewpoints. Our students gain a variety of abilities suitable for a variety of vocations. Scientific knowledge is built on discoveries made via fundamental, inquisitive study. We obtain the information and comprehension necessary to start tackling the problems we face on a local, societal, and even global level as a result of this discovery.

The Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences is committed to providing our students with a comprehensive education in the physical and mathematical sciences. We offer undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate and doctoral programs in a wide range of disciplines, including physics, mathematics and chemistry. Our faculty members are highly qualified and experienced in their respective fields, and they are dedicated to helping students achieve their academic and professional goals. They are engaged in cutting-edge research in various areas of physical and mathematical sciences, providing our students with ample opportunities to engage in research activities and gain hands-on experience in conducting experiments and applying theoretical concepts. Our programs are designed to provide students with a solid foundation in the fundamental principles of the physical and mathematical sciences, while also offering elective courses that allow students to specialize in specific areas of interest. Our programs also include laboratory and project components, enabling students to develop practical skills and work collaboratively on real-world problems.

The objective of the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences is to provide a world-class education in the physical and mathematical sciences, preparing our students for successful careers in academia, industry, and government. Our goal is to develop students’ critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and to provide them with a deep understanding of the fundamental principles of science and mathematics. We are committed to providing our students with a supportive and inclusive learning environment, where they can thrive academically and personally. We encourage our students to engage in research activities, participate in clubs and societies, and attend seminars and conferences, to develop their skills and build a sense of community.
