Organised in every two years, this global competition is held across 56 skills in the various industrial sectors. Every WorldSkills member nation is represented by the best of their skilled professionals who are chosen through National level skills competition amongst peers.

WorldSkills 2019, the 45th WorldSkills competition was organized in Kazan , Russia in August 2019. Amongst the 1,354 young professionals representing 63 countries in 56 skills , it was a matter of pride and honour for CGU student

 S. Aswatha Narayan to have represented India in Water Technology. He wrote history when he became the first-ever Indian to be awarded the Gold Medal in Water Technology at WorldSkills. 2019 was a glorious year for CGU as our students gained accolades at the national and international levels. While S. Aswatha Narayan went on to win the Gold medal for India, student Somnath Khatei and Rishi Mukherjee won the Silver and Bronze medal in water technology at the national level IndiaSkills competition.
